Williams Beginning to Rise

A couple schools have noticed Fort Wayne (Ind.) Bishop Luers' massive senior offenisve tackle Javond Williams and have inquired about the 6'7, 310-lb prospect.

The Bishop Luers coaching staff says Javond Williams showed up big and raw, and now they have transformed him into a college prospect, as the 6'7, 310-lb senior has had a good year and is starting to get some looks.

"It's my first year here," Williams said. "I transferred from Wayne. I should have made [that decision] a long time ago."

The staff has received calls from Indiana and Ball State requesting more film and information. Williams says he is actually is not that concerned with recruiting, he is entirely focused on his team.

"It feels good," he said of his team's win over Bishop Dwenger. "It feels real good. I've been talking to IU, but right now, I'm not really focused on that. I'm just focused on the season."

The coaches have invited Williams to Bloomington and he plays to take them up on it.

"I'll probably make a visit, but right now, I'm just focused on state."
