Pittman Enjoys Spartan Official

Last weekend was a big hit for Canton McKinley defensive end Se'Von Pittman. Friday night he led his team to a 41-0 victory over North Canton Hoover, and then he headed off to East Lansing where the Michigan State commit took his official visit. How did things go for Pittman?

Canton (OH) McKinley star defensive end Se'Von Pittman just completed a weekend to remember. First, he helped lead his team to a 41-0 victory Friday night, and then the Michigan State commit took his official visit to see the Spartan program.

Seeing Michigan State beat arch-rival Michigan made quite an impression on the four-star prospect, as did the entire visit.

"Seeing us beat Michigan was really great, and I enjoyed beating them up physically," Pittman stated. "I had a great time at Michigan State, and I loved being with the coaches and meeting the players. I love the campus at Michigan State, and I'm excited to play in that great defense."

"Being up there with (high school teammate) Jermaine Edmondson was great too, because it's always good to be with people you know," he added. "Coming off our big win Friday night, it was just a great weekend altogether."

In his team's win over North Canton Hoover Friday night, Pittman was his usual dominant self, continually harassing Purdue commit Austin Appleby throughout the game. Here are a few clips of Pittman in action during the game:

Pittman is also still being pursued by Ohio State, and the 6-foot-4, 260-pound, star admitted he has had contact with Buckeye head coach Luke Fickell.

"Coach Fickell calls me once in a while and we're still talking," he explained. "He is supposed to come to my school in the next week or so. I might take an official visit to Ohio State, but I'm not sure about that. Coach (Mark) Dantonio knows I just want to be sure of my decision, and he just wants me to let him know first before I take any visit to any other school."
