JCFootball.com: Top Linebackers (Updated)

As we head down the home stretch of the regular season, we here at JCFootball.com will continue to highlight some of the top performers at each position on the football field. Today, we take a look at some of the top linebackers in the country and some of the big numbers they've put up so far this season...

Eastern Arizona LB DeNaurius Hayles - Hayles continues to put up big numbers for the Gila Monsters, posting 59 tackles and six sacks.

Eastern Arizona LB Adarius Glanton - Glanton has combined with Hayles to form one of the better linebacker tandems in the country. Glanton has used his size and athleticism to post 51 tackles and a sack for the Gila Monsters.

Tyler LB Dante Rollins - Rollins had 10 tackles, five sacks in Tyler's 31-26 win over Northeast Oklahoma. For the season, Rollins has put up big numbers for the Apaches posting 52 tackles, six sacks and 10 tackles-for-loss.

Navarro LB D.J. Simon - Simon intercepted two passes and added 12 tackles as Navarro defeated Cisco 37-21. The freshman linebacker has had a solid season for the Bulldogs so far, racking up 57 tackles and four sacks so far.

Nassau LB Amara Kamara - The freshman 'backer has been solid for the Lions, leading the team in tackles with 49 while also hauling in an interception.

Coffeyville LB Martrell Spaight - Even though Spaight is only a freshman, he does rank third in the Jayhawk Conference in tackles with 79 and has also posted 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.

Golden West LB Ronald Pierre - Pierre has had a great season for Golden West so fart posting 33 tackles and a sack. The talented sophomore doesn't have an offer yet, but has been contacted by some WAC programs and recently set up his first official visit, to San Jose State, which will take place in December.

Riverside LB Zaire Anderson - Anderson recently received an offer from Nebraska, a team looking for a run-plugging middle linebacker. This season, the talented linebacker has totaled 48 tackles, 11 tackles-for-loss and 1.5 sacks this season for the Tigers.

Fullerton LB Brandon Guererro - Guererro has used his outstanding size and instincts to post 40 tackles and 4.5 tackles-for-loss so far this season to lead the Hornets.

Orange Coast LB Colten Christensen - At only 5'9", 195 pounds, Christensen is probably going to have a to find a place in someone's secondary if he wants to play at the next level, but there is no denying his tackling abilities. The freshman has 51 tackles, six tackles-for-loss, two sacks and one interception so far this season.

Saddleback LB Chris Connolly - This season, Connolly has racked up 23 tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss and one sack.

Sierra LB Trevor Scott - The Wolverines aren't having the best of seasons, but Scott has done his best to keep them in games, posting 45 tackles and three tackles-for-loss in six games.

Reedley LB Rodney Thomas - Thomas has had a great freshman season so far, posting 29 tackles and two tackles-for-loss.
