It's pretty hard to miss 6-foot-4, 320 junior Shaquon McWilson on the football field. It's not just his size that stands out on the field, but also his skill and colleges all over have taken notice.
"Lately I've been hearing from Ball State, Boston College, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State and Wisconsin."
The offensive tackle recently attended the Penn State vs Alabama game and had a great time.
"The game was good and the atmosphere was really good. I also got a chance to talk to the defensive line and offensive line coaches as well as visit a couple of their facilities."
Next up on the junior's visit list is a trip to Ann Arbor.
"I'm going to a Michigan game soon. I'm looking forward to seeing the crazy crowd, talk to the coaches and just see a good football game."
For now, the junior is focusing on his high school season.
"We're doing well. Our team is 7-2 and I'm playing pretty good. I've been working on getting my feet faster and also picking up blitzes quicker."
While McWilson says he grew up an Ohio State fan, he admits he's open to all schools right now.
"I want to commit sometime during my senior season. Where ever I go, I need to like the coaches. Academics will be a big factor in my decision too. And then playing time. I'm not sure about the distance yet. I want to get away a little bit, but not be too far away."
