Although South has already locked in a playoff spot, North needs a win this week and some help from others to be able to continue on to the Ohio State playoffs.
Both teams enter this contest at 7-2, and it could be an offensive explosion, as both squads feature exciting playmakers on that side of the football.
Kareem Hunt: Willoughby South. Junior tailback. Hunt has put up huge numbers all season, and has rushed for over 2,000 yards and scored 33 touchdowns. Earlier this season, he had a 415-yard rushing effort. Hunt will be a marked man by the North defense.
Casey Klicman: Willoughby South. Junior quarterback. Hunt is not the only weapon for South, and Klicman is shining as a junior starter. For the season, he has thrown for over 1,600 yards, completing over 55% of his passes. With North looking to stop Hunt, Klicman will need to make throws to keep the chains moving.
George Gresko: Eastlake North. Senior quarterback. For North to win this game they will need a big effort out of their senior quarterback. Gresko has thrown for over 2,000 yards this season, and he might need another huge game in what could be an offensive shootout.
Ben Josipovic: Eastlake North. Junior wide receiver. Gresko's favorite target has been Josipovic, and the junior wideout has caught 59 passes for 900 yards to date. Look for this combination all night long when North has the football.
