Alabama impressed 2014 ATH

Alabama had elite prospects on their campus over the weekend for the LSU game and although the Tide did not come out on top, the atmosphere still impressed.

"Alabama was an unrealistic experience for me. I was placed among the top recruits in the nation at a game where only the best of the best played," said Nick Ruffin.

"It was just amazing to me to see how wild and crazy the atmosphere was there. The fans, the lights, and the sounds really drew me in and it was hard to walk away from it all.

"Alabama is a tradition based school and everyone knows it. It is a top notch program and it would be great to be part of such a historic program."

The 6-foot, 170 pound sophomore out of Atlanta (GA) St. Pius X talked a little to Chris Rumph, his recruiting coach, and Rumph let Ruffin know that the Crimson Tide have their eye on him.

Alabama is in Ruffin's top five with Clemson, Florida State, Tennessee, and Virginia at this time.

Geno Smith, a teammate of Ruffin's has already committed to Alabama and like Smith, Ruffin likes it in Tuscaloosa.

"I can very much see why Geno chose Alabama," said the 2014 prospect that could play corner or wide receiver on the next level.
