Scouting Report: Johnson is an instinctive linebacker. He is a linebacker that plays within himself, he reads his keys, he plays smart, and he puts himself in good position to make plays. He is constantly around the ball, he has tallied over 100 tackles in each of the last two seasons, and he is a solid tackler. His speed picked up in 2011 and he really got to the ball faster this season. He can work on his lateral quickness and continue to get stronger. He is linebacker that can drop into coverage, make the calls, and make teammates around him better. He is not a flashy player, but just someone who always ends up around the ball and puts big numbers on stat sheets on a regular basis.
