Brown Hearing From Plenty

2013 Brookfield HS (Conn.) QB prospect Boeing Brown is beginning to receive attention from plenty of top schools.  He talked to Scout.com about which schools he is hearing from, what he is looking for, and more.

Emerging 2013 Brookfield, Conn., QB prospect Boeing Brown is making a big entrance on the recruiting scene.

"Some schools that I am hearing from now are Connecticut, Penn State, South Carolina, NC State, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State, Duke, Temple, and Wisconsin," Brown said.   "I am very keen on Big Ten, SEC and Connecticut."

Brown has already begun forming relationships with many of the aforementioned schools.

"I am very close to Coach Mangus of South Carolina," Brown said. "Coach Buggs and Jay Paterno at PSU, Coach McCall at Northwestern, Coach Moorehead and Coach Pasqualoni at UConn, and Coach Zook at Illinois."

He added, "These coaches are really supportive and caring. And I like the open dialogue as they are getting to know me and vice versa."

On top of all the attention, Brown is no stranger to success on the gridiron.

"I was named an All-American and will be playing in their Junior All-American Game on Dec 31st at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium," Brown said. Brown will visit Penn State Saturday, and make a trip south soon to check out more schools. Plus, he just returned from a visit to UConn.

"I am really working to explore all of their programs and overall schools," Brown said.

Something that he will be doing over the coming year, as his recruitment continues to develop. Stay on Scout.com for the latest on Brown and the rest of the Class of 2013.
