It's officially playoff time for schools across the South, and several Ole Miss commitments are aiming for state championships.

**Blackman had their star tailback return from a turf toe injury the week before and came out Friday with a vengeance as he rushed for a school-record 342 yards on 26 carries with five touchdowns in

Blackman’s 41-38 win over Farragut in the first round.

I'tavius Mathers has 2,203 rushing yards on 224 carries with 25 touchdowns this season in nine games of action.

Last season Tennessee's Gatorade Player of the Year ranked tailback rushed for 2,600 yards and 31 touchdowns.

Blackman faces number one ranked Riverdale tonight in the second round of the playoffs. Mathers injury a month ago occurred against Riverdale so this game is a little something extra special for the Ole Miss commit.

**Sandy Creek (GA) saw their winning streak increase to 39 games after they beat Stockbridge 22-14 last Friday. Mike Hilton, an Ole Miss commit who starts both ways (RB/S) for Sandy Creek, had 97 rushing yards and three tackles on defense.'s #74 rated running back helped Sandy Creek to a state championship last season with 87 carries for 720 yards and 12 touchdowns. Hilton made an even bigger impact on defense manning the safety position as he racked up 70 tackles , 9 interceptions and 11 passes broken up.

Nationally ranked Sandy Creek faces Butler in their opening round of the playoffs tonight.

Jaylen Walton

**Memphis Ridgeway upped their winning streak to seven games as they beat Craigmont 49-42 in the first round of the playoffs. They now stands at 8-3 at face Dyer County in the second round of the 5A playoffs tonight.

The Ole Miss running back commit from Ridgeway, Jaylen Walton, led their team with 273 rushing yards and 5 TD's in the Craigmont contest.

He overtook I'Tavius Mathers and now leads the state of Tennessee in rushing with 2, 273yards and 25 TD's.'s #44 nationally rated running back rushed for more than 2,200 yards and 38 touchdowns as a junior.

**RB Kenno Loyal and Columbia got a big 35-7 win over Carrol in their last regular season game last Friday. The recent Ole Miss commit had 108 rushing yards and 2 TD's in the contest.'s #56 rated tailback has rushed the ball 168 times for 1058 yards and 11 TD's this fall.

The Decatur, GA native rushed for over 1,500 yards and 18 TD's his junior season.

Columbia faces Carrollton tonight in the first round of the 3A playoffs.

Ben Still
Memphis University School had a bye in their opening round of the playoffs last Friday.

The Owls star right guard is Ole Miss commit Ben Still. The 6' 4", 285-pound right guard is currently rated the #43 ranked guard in the country.

MUS faces McCallie tonight int he second round of the playoffs.

**Whiteland and OT Jake Meador finished the season with a 4-6. The 6' 7", 305-pound offensive lineman finished the regular season with over 40 pancakes and did not allow a sack.

Meador is currently rated the #68 at offensive tackle in the country.

**Battle Ground Aca and C.J. Beathard took a mouth dropping loss in the first round of the playoffs by the score of 24-17. Trent Lusk's Hail Mary pass for McCallie fell into the waiting arms of Jack Williamson to end C.J. Beathard's season.

The Ole Miss quarterback commit passed for 268 yards and 2 TD's in the contest. He finished the season with over 2,400 passing yards and 23 TD's/3 Int's on the season.'s #89 ranked quarterback passed for 2, 312 yards and 17 TD's as a junior.

Temario Strong
**South Panola continues to improve and are peaking the right time as they defeated Desoto Central 41-0 last Friday. . The Tigers ran their record to 8-3 and have outscored their last four opponents 183-42. They face 6-5 Jackson Murrah tonight in the opening round of the playoffs.

Two Ole Miss commits on the Tiger's defensive line, Temario Strong and Issac Gross, led the way for South Panola's defense. . Strong finished with 6 solo tackles and caused a fumble. Gross had four tackles and one for a loss

Temario now has 52 tackles, 21 for losses, 3sacks, 5 batted down balls, 4 forced fumbles and 2 recovered fumbles on the season.

Issac has 56 tackles, 7 sacks, 23 for loss, 1 interception for a 72 yard touchdown on the season, and three caused fumbles.

**Rockbridge (MO) and TE Austin Ray took a heartbreaking 10-9 loss to nationally ranked RocK Hurst on a last second 38-yard field goal. Austin had 2 receptions for 56 yards in the contest.

The 6' 6", 240 pound tight-end has 24 receptions for 388 yards and 5 TD's on the season.

Jordan Batiste
**Lutcher (LA) continued their hot streak as they ran won their last nine games of the regular sea son.. They defeated Plaquemine 34-8 Friday in their last regular season game. Ole Miss commit, CB Jordan Batiste, had five tackles and a pass deflection in the contest. He now has 88 tackles, 4 interceptions, 12 batted down balls, and 1 sack on the season.

Last season's #82 rated cornerback finished the 2010 season with 84 tackles and 7 picks.

**West Bolivar thumped East Webster 55-0 in the opening round of the playoffs . They are now 10-1 on the season. Their star tailback, Kailo Moore, did not play in the contest due to a chest injury while he was lifting weights Wednesday.

Moore has rushed the ball 146 times for 1, 256 rushing yards rushing yards and 19 TD's for the season. He rushed for 2, 297 yards and 32 TD's as a sophomore.

West Bolivar faces Bruce tonight in the second round of the playoffs and Moore is expected to return to the field

**LB Ike Spearman and Lake Central (Ind) season is over as they finished with a a 8-2 record. The Ole Miss linebacker commit finished the season with 111 tackles and 9 sacks.

The 6' 0", 215-pounder is currently ranked as the #83 rated OLB in the country.
