Kenney Checks out Bloomington

Indianapolis Pike (Ind.) junior DE David Kenney talks about his trip to Indiana.

Indianapolis Pike defensive end David Kenney currently has offers from Indiana, Iowa and Iowa State, and has several other BCS schools interested.

Over the weekend, Kenney says he was invited to Ohio State-Michigan, but chose to keep his word, stay in-state and view another Big Ten rivalry, Purdue and Indiana's battle in Bloomington.

"It went pretty well," he said of the trip. "They had a nice stadium, nice field, nice everything. They have a nice new locker room too."

The Hoosiers made it clear they want Kenney with the early offer, and on Saturday, they made it clear they were happy to host him and his father for the game.

"They said we look forward to having you and they were saying thanks for coming to the game and that was pretty much it."

On his most recent offer, Iowa State, Kenney says, "I probably will visit on their junior day."

With the college season ending, Kenney says he will now focus on scheduling junior day trips, and shortly after that, we may get a decision from him.

"Probably in the spring time," he said of a commitment date.

Kenney lead the Red Devils with a school record 12 sacks this season.
