Bell Visits Evanston

Northwestern hosted Menomonee Falls (Wisc.) junior OL Dan Bell over the weekend.

Menomonee Falls junior offensive tackle Dan Bell has attracted the attention of schools with his 6'6, 275-lb frame and upside. He has been taking visits to prospective schools over the Fall, and continued that this weekend with his trip to Northwestern.

"Overall the visit was great, the facilities, and the presentation about academics was outstanding. The whole entire experience was great. It's going to be really hard to decide a school via offers I may receive." Bell said.

Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Indiana and Western Michigan are among the schools that have shown early interest in Bell. He has taken trips to several schools, but this was his first time in Evanston, and he made the most of it, talking to the coaches and taking in the sights.

"I talked with a coach. We talked for quite a while, consisting of my major, their program, graduation rate, some of their players, majors they have available and a few other things.

Bell does not have any offers yet, but he admits then if and when he does, it will be a tough choice, with Northwestern definitely being in high consideration.

"Overall I loved the game, campus and the facilities I saw. Definitely my second favorite behind Notre Dame."
