Offers Near for Doe

Lake Braddock (VA) 2013 defensive end is closing in on offer number one, and maybe number two.

Lake Braddock (Va.) might have had a rough start this season but all eyes were still on their 2013 defensive end Dean Doe who recorded 68 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and eight sacks.

Doe held his own when he lined up against Centreville's Ken Ekanem, a premier prospect from the class of 2012, in their first playoff game.

After showcasing an impressive season, college interest is brewing for the 6-foot-2, 225-pound prospect.

"I am hearing from Maryland, U.Va, Penn State and some news from Oregon," he told FOX Sports Next.

"Maryland is waiting for me to take a visit, which will be soon, and U.Va. is just waiting on my highlight tape but they are close to offering."

If he had to choose now, there is one program that stands out over the rest.

"My number one is U.Va right now even after their big loss."

Doe plans on going to Virginia in January, he added, and does not have further travel plans at this time.
