Ala. All-Stars: Recruiting notebook

A lot of recruiting news surrounded the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic. The game is Saturday, December, 10th at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala. Kick-off is 12:30 p.m. Andrew Bone spent the last three days learning all the latest news from 'Team Alabama'.

Jameis Winston

The five-star quarterback, from Hueytown, took an official visit to Alabama last weekend and will visit Florida State the last weekend of January. He also has tentative plans to visit Auburn, Ohio State and Stanford. He has yet to schedule any other visits. Winston remains committed to Florida State, but still wanting to evaluate all options.

T.J. Yeldon

The National 100 running back, from Daphne, remains solid with his commitment to Auburn after taking an official visit to Alabama last weekend. He did say during the week he is hoping to take a trip to USC. Yeldon will need to take the trip soon since he plans an early graduation and enroll in January.

Tyler Nero

The four-star defensive tackle, from Atmore-Escambia County, is 100-percent solid with his commitment to Auburn. He does plan to take official visits in January to Auburn, Alabama, Arkansas and Florida State. His dad is a former Razorback.

Beniquez Brown

The four-star linebacker, from Florence, took his first official visit last week to Tennessee. He will take official visit to Arkansas (1/6), Mississippi State (1/13), North Carolina State (1/20) and Ole Miss (1/27). He favors Mississippi State and Tennessee at this point.

Kivon Coman

The cornerback, from Florence, is a cousin with Beniquez Brown. He is a Mississippi State commitment, but taking similar official visits. He traveled to Tennessee last weekend. He also plans to visit Arkansas (1/6) and Ole Miss (1/27).

DeAnte Lawrence

The athlete, from Prattville, remains committed to Southern Miss. He will take official visits in January to FIU and Minnesota.

Kelton Brackett

The three-star cornerback, from Blount, will take an official visit January 13 to FIU. The UAB commitment is looking at options and considered a soft verbal to the Blazers.

Joseph Peterson

The linebacker, from Dothan, is a Georgia State commitment. He recently took a visit to South Alabama. He plans to visit Louisana-Lafayette and Coastal Carolina in January.

Terris Lewis

The linebacker, from Linden, has received scholarship offers from Jacksonville State, Troy, UAB, Memphis, South Alabama, Middle Tennessee and Alabama State. He favors Jacksonville State, Troy and South Alabama. He plans to make a decision closer to signing day.

Cameron Broadnax

The wide receiver, from Hueytown, has earned new offers from Middle Tennessee, South Alabama and UAB. He favors South Alabama.

Michael Flint

The three-star offensive guard, from Oxford, has yet to take any of official visits. He is hoping to visit Clemson, Georgia Tech and Mississippi State. Flint plans to make a decision at the Under Armour All-American game in January.

Bob Pugh

The wide receiver, from Foley, has earned scholarship offers from Louisiana-Lafayette and Murray State. He is also receiving interest from Kentucky.

Chris Humes

The three-star cornerback, from Spain Park, has scheduled official visits in January to Alabama (1/13) and Arkansas (1/20). He will also likely take an official visit to Mississippi State. Alabama and Arkansas have yet to offer.

Trae Elston

The three-star cornerback, from Oxford, has new schools at the top of his list. Elston currently favors Arkansas, Oklahoma State and UCF. He has yet to set any official visits.

Justin Burdette

The wide receiver, from Clay-Chalkville, is seeking scholarship offers. He is receiving strong interest from Troy, The Citadel and UT-Chattanooga. He plans to take official visits in January to those three schools. He should see more options after a big game on Saturday.

Jamarlo Alford

The defensive tackle, from Opelika, has an offer from Georgia State. He is talking with several junior colleges.

Caleb Gulledge

The three-star offensive guard, from Prattville, Gulledge is a solid commitment to Alabama, but may take an official visit to LSU.

Kyron Samuels

The three-star center, from Fairhope, will begin taking official visits in January. He plans to visit Alabama, Auburn and Mississippi State.

Derrick Moncrief

The safety, from Prattville, is committed to Southern Miss. He will likely take official visits to Arkansas and Mississippi State in January.

Matt Pensa

The kicker, from Austin, is receiving several looks from across the region. He has been invited to walk-on at North Carolina State.
