Schyler Miles Offered and Will Visit

One of the newest prospects on the Florida Gators' radar is athlete Schyler miles of Tampa Berkeley Prep. The dual threat star was recently offered by Florida and is now going to visit the campus in Gainesville this coming weekend. talked to Berkley Prep head coach Dominick Ciao about his star player and what he has learned Miles thinks about Florida.

Schyler Miles got the offer from the Gators early last week and according to Coach Ciao, he is happy about it.

"He is thrilled," Ciao said. "This opportunity from someone he watches is very exciting. He is very honored and thrilled."

Miles used Twitter to let everyone know where he would visit this coming weekend. "Looks like I'll be taking my 2nd official visit to the University of Florida next weekend," he wrote.

Miles teammate Nelson Agholor just returned from a visit to Florida this weekend and according to Ciao had a great visit. Ciao says that Miles has a lot on his plate and really wants to see what Florida offers.

"He is anxious to go look at the university and the same thing as Nelson," the coach said. "He has some tough decisions to make."

Ciao says that Florida offered him a scholarship to play fullback, but they haven't ruled out his chance to play on the defensive side of the ball.

"I think fullback right now, but he has a chance to play linebacker," Ciao said of the terms of the scholarship.

Ciao loves what Miles brings on the defensive side of the ball.

"For me as a high school coach, he was a tremendous linebacker," the coach said. "He is a play maker and has great instincts. He plays down field, plays fast, and plays hard. He is one of the best defensive guys I've ever coached. I think he is a defensive guy but has the talent to play fullback, the same type of toughness."
