Mike Davis had great time at FSU

Mike Davis took his second official visit this weekend and it was to Florida State. Davis talks about his time in Tallahassee here.

Florida State was recruiting Mike Davis even when he was committed to Florida and they are now one of the schools he is looking at since opening things back up.

Davis spent the weekend in Tallahassee and he had a good time.

"My host was Davonta Freeman and he told me about FSU bring a good school and how the coaches will play you early if you are ready. He told me I'd just have to come in and work hard," said Davis.

The 5-foot-10, 195 pound running back out of Stone Mountain, Ga. - Stephenson listened to everything Freeman had to say and he also paid attention to head coach Jimbo Fisher.

The Noles may have a commitment from five-star running back Mario Pender, but they are still targeting Davis.

"Coach Fisher was telling me that they want me at FSU and how I would be a perfect fit there. He told me they are going to recruit me hard."

The Peach State star liked many things while on the FSU campus, but the environment is what stood out to him most.

"I really liked the players and how none of them have problems with each other. It is all family down there."

FSU now has Davis' attention and they are in contention for the seventh best prospect in Georgia.

"I am still open, but I have a lot of interest in them. Nothing really surprised me there, I just had a great time," Davis said.

Now Davis plans to prepare for the Army All-American game in January before visiting Clemson, Georgia, and South Carolina officially.

He plans to announce his decision on Signing Day.
