2013 Intro: Kendrick Foster

2013 Richwoods HS RB Kendrick Foster has one offer -- and is on his way to more. He talks to FOXSportsNEXT about which schools he is hearing from and a successful junior season.

2013 Richwoods HS (Ill.) RB Kendrick Foster led his team to the state championships this season.

"We made it to state but lost in the finals," Foster said.

And plenty of people took notice of the talented junior. He was named All-State, All-Area and more.

"I rushed for over 2400 yards," Foster said of his season. "And 33 TDS and was invited to the All-American camp in Arizona."

Several schools are beginning to take notice too.

"Right now I am hearing from Northwestern, Illinois State, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois," Foster said. "And I have one offer from Illinois State."

Even though the Peoria, Ill., native is only a junior -- he's hit the ground running with recruiting.

"I have visited Iowa, Northwestern, and Illinois so far," Foster said. "I really liked the fans and how much hype there is with college ball."

The next thing on Foster's plate is a trip to Arizona for the Proving Ground Combine -- as well as working on a few key things.

"I'm working on my blocking and explosiveness," Foster said. "As well as my endurance and just getting stronger and faster this off season."

Stay on FOXSports NEXT for the latest on Foster and the rest of the class of 2013.
