Morgan to Announce on Signing Day

Wayne Morgan, who is down to three schools, is still not close to making a decision. He told FOX Sports Next that a decision won't come until well into the new year.

Erasmus Hall (NY) standout Wayne Morgan was once a all-but-sure Michigan commit. Then he opened things back up but only after remaining quiet about his recruitment until after his senior season ended.

In mid-December, he dropped South Carolina from consideration and told FOX Sports Next that Syracuse, Connecticut and Rutgers stood out as his final three possibilities.

Morgan has since been sent to the inaugural Semper Fidelis All-American Game in Phoenix - but don't expect an announcement at the game either.

"Nope, I'm going to do it on signing day," Morgan said on Wednesday when asked if he has come to a decision.

The defensive back plans on visiting UConn next month. He was in Syracuse in early December as has been to Rutgers on several occasions.

Stay on FOX Sports Next for the latest on Morgan and the rest of the players playing in all three All-American games.
