Semper Fi Bowl: Moss is "N"

Tempe (Az.) Corona del Sol DE Avery Moss makes commitment at Semper Fidelis All America Game...

For the second year in a row, Nebraska has dipped into the state of Arizona and landed a defensive lineman.

Last year it was four-star DT Todd Peat that the Huskers signed out of Tempe Corona del Sol, this year it is three-star DE Avery Moss.

Moss has been a silent commitment to Nebraska for over a week now but made it official when he announced his commitment to the nation at the 1st Annual Semper Fidelis All America Game in Phoenix, AZ. He says, "I like the family atmosphere plus Nebraska leads the nation in academic All-Americans."

What a difference a year made for Moss. At this point last year, Moss was coming off an injury that limited him to just five games of varsity action as a junior. He continued to work hard and improved by leaps and bounds, playing his way into this game. In 2011, Moss recorded 59 tackles and 5 sacks as a senior.

Purdue was Moss' runner-up but he also had offers from Arizona, Arizona State and Washington amongst others.
