Breneman Excited About O'Brien Hire

There are a lot of important recruits for Penn State in the class of 2013, but perhaps none are as vital as local prospect Adam Breneman. if you don't believe that you should watch more Patriots games.

Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski are vital to the success that the New England Patriots have enjoyed this season. The Patriots offense run by newly minted Penn State head coach Bill O'Brien is one of the most prolific in the league.

The Patriots make good use out of their two young, athletic tight ends to create mismatches. Camp Hill (Pa.) Cedar Cliff junior tight end Adam Breneman knows that and he is expecting O'Brien to try and do the same once he starts rolling in Happy Valley.

"I'm really excited about the way he uses the tight end," Breneman said. "Look at what he has done with Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez."

Penn State wasted very little time in contacting Breneman upon the hiring of Bill O'Brien.

"I spoke with Larry Johnson the day after Coach O'Brien was hired," stated Breneman. "He said I would love the way Coach O'Brien uses the tight ends. He said they want to get me on campus right after signing day, so I can spend some time with Coach O'Brien and get to know the new staff. I think it's a great hire."

Breneman holds a pile of offers and has already committed to play in the 2013 Under-Armour All-American Game. In 12 games this season, he tallied 72 receptions, 1,120 yards and 12 touchdowns.
