Yesterday, the Green Wave removed any doubt.
"Tulane came to my school and I also talked to the coaches at a basketball game," said Hall. "I talked to them all day. Coach (Jason) Rollins and Coach (Lionel) Washington were the two coaches. They said they needed me and Darion Monroe, too."
Monroe is from the same area - Laplace/Reserve - as both Hall and St. Charles Catholic RB Lazedrick Thompson.
Thompson is committed to Tulane.
Monroe, a senior cornerback, attends school at East St. John in Reserve and is currently committed to Texas A&M.
"The Tulane coaches and I were all at the East St. John basketball game," said Hall. "Tulane wants to get both of us (Hall and Monroe) to join the class. I'm supposed to talk to Deebo (Monroe) about visiting on the 27th. Deebo was talking about visiting Nebraska that weekend, but he seemed to like what Tulane was saying.
"Coach Washington wants both of us to come in and compete for a starting job. I like Coach Washington a lot. He's a real good coach. He played in the league for 15 years and also coached in it. He knows what it takes."
"At first I didn't want to stay in-state but Tulane has been changing my mind," he said. "My mom likes Colorado but she likes Tulane because Lazedrick is going there. She likes Lazedrick.
"Tulane is supposed to be coming for an in-home visit soon to meet my mom. I'm ready to get to Indiana and see what they have. Michael Hunter (former West Monroe DB) is supposed to be my host. I have an offer from Indiana but they said I have to commit by the end of the week. They have an offer out to another DB and if he commits first, then I won't have an offer."
Hall and Thompson led St. Charles Catholic to a 15-0 season and the 2011 Class 3A state championship.
Although Hall has a visit scheduled to North Texas on the 27th, it's possible that he'll visit Tulane instead.
