Anytime you have a coaching change, there are always rumors that some of the already committed players might be reconsidering their pledge to their respective school.

That scenario took place at Arkansas State University for one Arkansas athlete.

AStateNation.com caught up with West Helena running back DeKeathan Williams after his official visit to get his thoughts on his current commitment.

"I'm very much committed to Arkansas State," Williams said. "I have always love the school. I got the chance to see a lot more of the campus this weekend. It feels like home."

New Head Football Coach Gus Malzahn and his new coaching staff also appears to have made a solid impression on Williams.

"Coach Malzahn is a really cool guy," Williams said. "I can't wait to be a Red Wolf."

When asked what position Williams was being recruited for, the talented athlete answered almost immediately.

"Running back," Williams said. "That's my position and that's where they are recruiting me to play."

Williams did admit one thing about his official visit last weekend.

"Everything was definitely a lot better than I expected it to be," Williams said. "There wasn't anything I didn't like about my time on campus."

Stay tuned to AStateNation.com, we will have recruiting updates starting early morning as 15 official visitors leaves Jonesboro.
