Jeffersontown running back DeMichael Jackson has some big decisions to make in the coming weeks. He's got an opportunity to go to college and play for free or walk-on and earn a ride down the line.

DeMichael Jackson had another great season this year rushing for 2237 yards and 29 touchdowns. He had nearly 1200 yards passing and 14 more touchdowns. He also played well on defense with 60 tackles and two interceptions.

Jackson picked up a scholarship offer from Indiana State and recently got one from Southeast Missouri State. But another scenario played out recently.

"I had lunch with (Kentucky)Coach Joker Phillips and Coach (David) Turner at school (Wednesday)," said Jackson. "(Joker) offered me a preferred walk-on spot," said Jackson.

Jackson needed to talk with his family before making any decisions, but he also has decided to take another trip before making a decision.

"I just set up a visit to Southeast Missouri State for next weekend. When I get back I should be making a decision," Jackson said.
