Earlier in the week it appeared that Anthony Wales was headed to Louisville and Tyrone Pearson was headed to Kentucky. But things change quickly in the recruiting game.

Although Scout.com hasn't confirmed with Wales that he's not ultimately bound for Louisville, there are reports that the Louisville Central star is on an official visit to Western Kentucky this weekend.

Wales has held offers from Louisville, Kentucky and Western Kentucky for a long while.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound senior rushed for 2784 yards and 40 touchdowns this season, leading Central to the 3-A state title.

Meanwhile, across town, Tyrone Pearson had been bound for Kentucky after committing to the Wildcats earlier in the season. The 6-foot-3, 285-pound defensive tackle committed to Louisville at one point and was thought to also have committed to UCF, but Pearson denied the UCF commitment.

Pearson is said to be now considering Kentucky, Louisville and Western Kentucky – the school he's currently on an official visit to this weekend.

Pearson has closed up shop, however. He states he won't be doing any further interviews until signing day, February 3rd.

Scout.com will update you on the status of each of these three-star prospects as the information is available.
