Meet No. 12

The 2012 class got a little bigger this weekend, as this Ohio defensive back decided to pull the trigger on his visit.

Whitman high (OH) defensive back LeRoy Alexander started off what should be a busy couple of weeks for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

The 6-foot-2, 185 pound athlete committed to Nebraska on Saturday night, after receiving an offer from the Huskers during his official visit.

A former player for Nebraska graduate assistant Vince Marrow when he was in the high school coach, Alexander becomes the 12th verbal commitment for the Huskers.

"I committed on Saturday morning," said Alexander in a text message to BRR Saturday night.

Alexander did it all this season for Whitmer. The 2012 prospect rushed for over 600 yards with eight touchdowns, while collecting over 40 tackles, two interceptions, and seven pass break ups on defense.

Big Red Report will have more once his official visit in Lincoln is over.
