Getting a little crazy

Aaron Curry is a wanted man and from here to the finish line it is going to be crazy for him. Wednesday is letter of intent signing day and teams are showing up left and right to get some last minute time with the heralded defensive tackle recruit. Aaron Curry, Sr. brings us up to speed with the latest…

Aaron Curry from Keller (Texas) Fossil Ridge has been busy. The 6-foot-3 and 270-pound defensive tackle spent time with coaches from five schools today and was talking to a sixth.

"Iowa was here when you called," Mr. Curry said. "Nebraska was here earlier in the day along with Washington State, Missouri and TCU. We also have started talking with Texas A&M."

The latest word on Curry was that he might have a decision by possibly tonight. Those plans are on hold until at least one team gets back to him. Curry is actually contemplating an official visit this weekend right now.

"We aren't going to have an answer on anything until a little later. We are waiting to hear back from Texas A&M. We sent them the transcript and we are considering visiting there this weekend."

The number of schools and reporters is starting to become a bit of a nuisance. Mr. Curry says that his son hasn't experienced anything like this before and it is becoming too much to take.

"It's really starting to become a little overwhelming. It's nothing like Aaron has experienced before with all of these schools and reporters calling. I will keep you posted with what is going on."
