"It came down to Georgia and Ole Miss and I just love the atmosphere and the coaches at Georgia. I am honored to be a Bulldog and I will be signing with them at 12:30pm CST on Wednesday."
Dawson is the top prospect in the state of Tennessee and he will have the chance to play on both sides of the ball between the hedges.
"They told me I remind them of Brandon Boykin and that I will be primarily a cornerback, but I will also be used on offense. I really like that a lot."
After the visit to Ole Miss over the weekend, the four-star athlete out of Memphis gave being a Rebel some thought, but in the end, Georgia won out.
"I am definitely signing with Georgia and I feel relieved to end this process. I thought about a lot of things and I am 100 percent committed to Georgia. I feel good about it, the coaches are excited about it, and my family is behind me."
Dawson is a 5-foot-10, 185 pound athlete out of Memphis, Tn. that could play on both sides of the ball on the next level. He will start out as a cornerback at UGA.
