"The visit was great," said Jarren Johnson. "It was a great experience to be up there and talk to players and coaches. We walked around the facilities, attended the basketball game and talked the coaches.

"I like the facilities. It's a great atmosphere. They just won the BCS Championship. Some of the players like Robert Lester and Mark Barron talked to us a little bit. It was great to go in the weight room with coach Cochran."

Johnson spent time with the Tide coaching staff.

"Coach Saban was telling me he was going to invite me to come some of their camps," he said. They want me to come up there and work out with me more.

"I talked to the receivers coach [Mike Groh]. We watched some of their past players. We watched how they run their routes. He was just showing us some of the plays they run at Alabama."

The 6-foot, 190-pound junior will rank as one of the top prospects in the state of Alabama. He finished the 2011 season with 66 receptions for 1,076 yards and 14 touchdowns.
