5. April 28, 2011 - Riley Bullough pledges Spartans.
Bullough continues his family's legacy by giving Mark Dantonio his pledge two days before the annual spring game becoming the first pledge in the Class of 2012.

4. June 6, 2011 – Spartans Get Their Future QB
Tyler O'Connor of Lima (Ohio) Central Catholic High School gives the Spartans his verbal pledge. In the same region as Ohio's future Mr. Football, Maty Mauk, O'Connor turned heads at the Elite 11 quarterback event in July. 3. Jan. 29, 2012 – Crusader Pipeline
With the success of Greg Jones and now Marcus Rush in the Spartans program, it looked as if the Spartans were in good shape with four-star wide receiver Monty Madaris. However, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Madaris struggled with making his pledge and almost missed out on getting a chance to accept the scholarship offer Mark Dantonio had given him. After a little signing day drama, Madaris got his paperwork faxed in and is set to wear the Green & White.

2. Jan. 30, 2012 – Top Ten Talent Turns Green
Jeannette (PA) standout safety prospect Demetrious Cox pushes up his signing day announcement and pledges to the Spartans. A Scout.com four-star (#8 Overall Safety) ranked safety, Cox helped Mark Dantonio and the Spartans to close out the 2012 class with two four-star pledges.

1. July 28, 2011 – Spartans Get #1 In State Player Again
Thar's Gold in them thar hills, Farmington Hill, Michigan that is as four-star receiver Aaron Burbridge, the No. 1 player in the state of Michigan gave his verbal pledge to the Spartans. Burbridge marked the third consecutive year Mark Dantonio has taken top prospect from the state to go green.
