South: Five-star consideration

Antonio Connor, Reuben Foster, and Robert Nkemdiche are five-star prospects out of the South on Scout already, so who else could add that fifth star? Here are some names being considered.

Scout takes a look at the prospects by state.

Quick Hitter: Howard's a very athletic tight end with good speed, body control, and hands.
  • Dee Liner - DT - 6-4/260 - Muscle Shoals - Committed to Auburn
Quick Hitter: Liner is an explosive lineman with good punch and the ability to pressure the quarterback.

    Arkansas

  • Altee Tenpenny - RB - 6-0/203 - North Little Rock - Committed to Alabama
Quick Hitter: Tenpenny has the size, speed, agility, and play-making ability you look for in an elite back.

    Florida

  • Stacy Coley - WR - 6-1/173 - Northeast
Quick Hitter: Coley is a smooth receiver that is very dangerous in space.
  • Vernon Hargreaves - CB - 5-10/181 - Wharton

Quick Hitter: Tunsil has all the tools to be one of the top offensive tackles in the country.

    North Carolina

Quick Hitter: Gilmore could be a big defensive end or a quick defensive tackle on the next level.
  • Marquez North - WR - 6-3/210 - Mallard Creek
Quick Hitter: North looks the part, he has speed, and he really started to come into his own in 2011.

More prospects will emerge and become prospects talked about in this conversation, but these are the ones now that are being considered for that fifth star as Scout looks to expand on 2013 rankings this year.
