School: Cypress Bay HS (Weston, Fla)
2011 season stats: Montgomery finished his junior season with 27 catches for 556 yards and 10 touchdowns. No one else on his team had even 150 yards receiving so he was clearly the go-to guy in 2011. He also had two interceptions on defense.
Grades: 2.8 GPA/no test yet
Recruiting: "I had no favorite team growing up and all option are open for any college," Montgomery, who doesn't have any offers yet, said when asked about top college choices. "What I'm looking for in a college is how the team refers to one another like in a family, how well the coaches coach, and the school education."
As a Prospect: Montgomery has a lot of the tools you look for in a major college wide receiver prospect. He has the size and physical style of play to be an outside receiver at the college level. He's very good in traffic and will catch passes over the middle. He was, far and away, the most productive receiver in that offense a year ago. Montgomery is already being looked at by several schools and will likely emerge as one of the top wide receiver prospects in South Florida for the 2013 class.
