Two more offers for Cali TE

Riverside (Calif.) J.W North tight end Marcus Baugh added two more offers on Thursday and said No. 5 could be coming soon from a Big 10 heavyweight.

Marcus Baugh is an early candidate for top tight end in the West honors and was arguably among the top three tight ends in the region this past season. He caught 30 balls for 528 yards and seven touchdowns and has the size and athleticism that college coaches covet at the position.

UCLA and Nebraska were the first schools to offer Baugh and two more came earlier today.

"I got Florida and Washington now," Baugh said. "I was kind of expecting Washington because I had been talking with them and they said it would be coming but I had no idea Florida was going to offer. This was the first I talked with them and they ended up offering so that was pretty exciting.

"I've been talking with Ohio State too and they said they could be offering soon as well. That would be a big one so we'll see if it happens. This weekend I'll be going to USC's Junior Day and I'm looking forward to that. That's the only visit I have set right now because I'm still focusing on basketball."
