Jamie Major taking SEC visit
"I am going to Alabama this weekend," said Jamie Major. "They are telling me to keep working hard. I am taking my film to them. They want me to come to their camp this summer.
"Coach Williams has been recruiting me. He is a great Christian man. He is a great overall person and a very good coach."
Major was invited to Mississippi State's Junior Day this past weekend, but did not attend due to the ACT. He is receiving interest from Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Mississippi State, Missouri and Tennessee.
The 6-foot-1, 212-pound prospect is competing in track this season. He is running the 100m, 200m and 4x1 relay. His attention will focus on football after track.
"I am probably just wanting to get bigger and get my 40 down," Major said of off-season work-outs. "I want to cover a little bit better."
