Greenlee Being Diligent

The Stockton (Calif.) Lincoln quarterback, Zack Greenlee, has been busy on the camp circuit to get his name out...

Stockton (Calif.) Lincoln quarterback Zack Greenlee (6-1.5, 187), is part of one of the best QB-RB combos in the Golden State in the 2013 class.

Greenlee plays with running back Justin Davis, one of the most heavily recruited backs in the West, and Greenlee is starting to get a lot of interest his way.

"When schools came by (in December) I talked with them and a lot of letters are coming in," said Greenlee.

Greenlee said schools like BYU and Washington were by in December, and he's also interested in Cal, Oregon State, USC and UCLA.

"One of our old receivers, Brandin Cooks, is now at Oregon State so I've heard from them a lot and Cal is another school I'm really interested in," said Greenlee. "I'm going to their Junior Day (this weekend) I went to their camp last year. And of course, USC and UCLA, I've been to some of their games so I'll probably hit some of their camps."

Greenlee diligently hit the camp circuit last spring and summer, getting an early jump.

"I'm going to a lot of camps, just trying to get recognized," said Greenlee.

Last fall, Greenlee passed for 2,450 yards with 22 touchdowns and five interceptions and rushed for a touchdown.

Academically, he has a 3.3 GPA and will take the SAT in May.
