Big offer for Cochran

Atwater (Calif.) Buhach Colony offensive lineman Aaron Cochran has four early offers, all from the Pac 12. He said he was hopeful of landing an offer from outside the region and on Wednesday, he picked up his latest offer from one of the nation's true heavyweight programs.

"Notre Dame just offered me," Cochran said. "This is big, I'm really excited and I have a lot of interest in them. I was already planning to visit there in the summer so that shows you what kind of interest I already have in the school.

"I talked with Coach [Mike] Denbrock today and I like him a lot. He's a passionate guy and you can tell he really likes Notre Dame, he's excited about the program. I have family in Indiana too so it means a lot to get the offer from them."

Cochran's previous offers were from Cal, Colorado, Washington and Washington State.
