Crowder is a 6-foot-3, 300 pound offensive guard out of Rockingham (NC) Richmond County and he is one of the top overall prospects in his state.
These new offers have hit him fast and furious, but before these offers went out, he had four favorites.
Distance does not matter to him, but he is looking for a program with good stability, a nice campus, and one that provides a good education.
Expect Crowder to continue to add offers in the coming weeks.
What a Week for this Peach State Corner
It all started when Mark Richt offered Brendan Langley on Wednesday morning. Georgia got things going for this 5-foot-11, 180 pound cornerback out of Marietta (GA) Kell and he has had a memorable three day span.
It has been exciting for him, but he described this week with one word.
"Overwhelming", he said when asked about how he'd describe getting these offers so quickly.
Georgia was his favorite school growing up, but he is going to take visits. He will be in Tuscaloosa this weekend and then back in Athens on March 3. He'd like to make a summer decision.
Another Top Tight End in the South
When asked who he thought could be next, McNeil said, "Ohio State or Florida. I talk to those two frequently."
McNeil will be a top 10 prospect in North Carolina when Scout releases their initial 2013 rankings.
2014 Prospects Reeling In Offers
Todd Kelly, Jr. was first offered a scholarship by Auburn on Sunday night. It has taken off from there.
Kelly, Jr. is a 5-foot-11, 180 pound sophomore out of Knoxville (TN) Webb School and his father, Todd Kelly played college football at the University of Tennessee.
The younger Kelly is one of the top overall prospects in Tennessee right now.
Two sophomores in Georgia are picking up offers on a regular basis as well.
Demarre Kitt was offered by Georgia late in January and Auburn, Clemson, Ole Miss, and South Carolina have offered the 6-foot-1, 185 pound wide receiver out of Tyrone (GA) Sandy Creek since.
Talented Sunshine State Running Back to Commit
Kelvin Taylor, the son of Florida and NFL great Fred Taylor plans to commit this weekend. He is down to two schools.
"I do not really know how I am going to do it yet, but I do plan to commit this weekend. I am looking at Alabama and Florida," Taylor said.
Taylor is a very strong back out of Belle Glades (FL) Glades Day School and he will be a member of the Scout300 once it is released in the near future.
He had an impressive offer list, but he plans to end the process early.
