Tigers offer four-star OT

Clemson sent an offer to one of the country's top rising senior offensive tackles late last week.

That offer was extended to Ethan Pocic, of Lemont Township High School in Illinois.

"It was last Friday," he told CUTigers in a recent interview. "They just had me call them up."

Pocic spoke with recruiting coordinator Jeff Scott and offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell.

"I was just talking with them real quick, maybe about taking a visit," Pocic said.

< "It's just a winning program."

He's still learning about Clemson.

"I don't know a lot, just a little bit. About the tradition," Pocic said.

This weekend, the 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive tackle will head to Michigan for junior day.

Along with Clemson and Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, and USC are among the many offers for Pocic.

Scout.com currently lists him as a four-star in the class of 2013.
