Highly-touted KC QB set to visit Kansas

Lately, scholarship offers have been flocking to Kansas City (MO) Staley quarterback Trent Hosick like the proverbial swallows to Capistrano. This weekend, he'll visit one of the programs to do so when he spends Saturday at the University of Kansas.

A 6-foot-2, 221-pound signal caller, Trent Hosick currently holds offers from Baylor, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota, Northwestern and Tulsa.

As a junior in 2011, he helped lead Kansas City (MO) Staley High to the Missouri Class 5 state championship, throwing for 1,422 yards and 10 touchdowns, while rushing for an astonishing 2,054 yards and 31 scores.

He'll be on hand in Lawrence, Kan. as the Jayhawks take on the Missouri Tigers in perhaps the final iteration of the Border War to be played on campus.
