Kylie Fitts Has Current Top Three

Redlands (Calif.) East Valley defensive end Kylie Fitts is already one of the most highly-touted players in California. He talks with FOX Sports NEXT about his current favorites, visiting plans, and more.

After anchoring a dominating defensive line for Redlands (Calif.) East Valley's 2011 season, defensive end Kylie Fitts has garnered attention from around the country.

Fitts currently has thirteen offers and lists Oklahoma, Washington, and California as the schools he's "really liking right now."

"I really like the Washington defensive line coach, Tosh Lupoi. I've always been a big fan of Oklahoma, and they are doing really well lately," said Fitts.

Fitts also recently attended California's Junior Day and really enjoyed his time in Berkeley.

"It was really good. I talked with their defensive line coach Todd Howard and I really liked what he said to say. I also really enjoyed all of their new facilities," he said.

"I'm going to UCLA's Junior Day this weekend and I'm going to go up to Washington and take an unofficial visit there. I also might go to Oklahoma and visit them a little bit," said Fitts.

Fitts currently holds a 3.5 GPA and is looking for a solid education at the next level, among other things.

"Number one for me is a good academic program," said Fitts. "I also am looking for a good defensive line coach who has success, and just a good winning tradition."

In the meantime, Fitts is well under way participating in the Wildcats' off-season training program and is looking to improve upon both his speed and size.

"We work out in our sixth period class and I'm running on the treadmills and doing some quick feet on the fields, getting ready for next season," said Fitts.
