NUC Combine: Lyn Clark

The Charger of O.P. Walker are in the habit of producing college level football talent. One of the top offers from the New Orleans metro program for the 2013 signing class is linebacker Lyn Clark. Clark is hearing from several schools, but so far his first offer has remained elusive. The star from the Big Easy is taking his show on the road to show college coaches that he is not scared to compete.

"I have heard from LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, ULL, ULM, FIU, Texas A&M, Arizona, Arizona State and a few more," explained Clark at the NUC Combine in Zachary, Louisiana.

"I haven't been to any junior days yet, but I am going to ULL's junior day on March 24th."

Clark won the LB MVP during his time at the combine on Saturday and all of the schools recruiting him like him as an outside backer.

"I feel good about that," said Clark. "I like playing on the strong side.

"I feel like I am good at stopping the run and rushing the passer in the 34 system. I really like pass rushing."

When decision time comes, Clark's decision will be based on more than just early playing time.

"I am looking for a great academic school, a good football team, a great head coach and a place where I can relate to everybody."

For now Clark is readying himself for what he expects to be his best season on the high school level.

"We are going to be excellent this year especially on defense," said Clark. "Our whole defense is coming back.

"A next quarterback is going to be Damien Jackson, Raymond's younger brother. He already has the genes and he's ready.

"We are going to be a good team, better than this year."
