Junior Day Recap: Kahlil Dawson

Graham (Wash.) Graham-Kapowsin athlete Kahlil Dawson talked about his unofficial visit to Pullman this weekend…

Graham (Wash.) Graham-Kapowsin athlete Kahlil Dawson headed over the mountains to get a firsthand look at Washington State.

"Pullman was amazing," said Dawson. "I've been there before, I like the way all the players hung out. How they felt about the school. They all love that they went to WSU and have a love for the school. They all seem really close and are buying into coach Leach. They have big expectations."

Dawson is a football triple-threat, he can play receiver, cornerback and return specialist. The Cougar staff is recruiting him for all of the above.

"I got to talk to the DB coach and found out he is a good guy, I talked to the receiver coach as well," said Dawson. "They don't know yet, they are recruiting me for everything. They said they like me, they are just waiting."

Dawson holds an offer from Wyoming to play corner and checked out another school on the Palouse this weekend.

"I'll probably go to the Idaho junior day on March 31st," said Dawson. "I took an unofficial over there today too. Coach Hunter toured me around there. It was real cool, I like coach Hunter, we have a bond. He showed me the facilities and the weight room."
