Texas A&M offered Jermaine Antoine, the WR/DB out of Class 2A Loreauville yesterday. Antoine attended the Aggies' recent Junior Day. Head coach Kevin Sumlin is considering Antoine as a cornerback and kick returner.
Eugene Brazley and Raheem Falkins of Carver are committed to Ole Miss and Alabama, respectively. A storied program that produced Marshall Faulk, Carver will officially cease to exist in a few years. The New Orleans Recovery School District announced in January that Collegiate Academies, a charter program, will take over the ninth grade class at Carver this fall. Thus, the current freshman class at Carver will be the last group to come through as Rams. The school's enrollment dwindled from Class 4A to 2A after Hurricane Katrina ravaged the 9th Ward.
John Curtis offensive lineman Brandon Godfrey attended a Tulane practice this week. Godfrey's older brother Jerry played at Tulane. Brandon spent time at both center and offensive tackle last year for the Class 2A state champion Patriots.
When DBs coach Corey Raymond switched jobs, moving from Nebraska to LSU, there was instant speculation that Trevell Dixon (West St. Mary) would switch his pledge from the Huskers to the Tigers. Will LSU offer Dixon? The Tigers signed his teammate, offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins, last month.

'14 RB Leonard Fournette (St. Augustine) reports offers from over 100 programs (105 to be exact). Fournette has grown three inches (from 5-11 to 6-2) since he was a freshman. St. Augustine hired former South Plaquemines head coach Cyril Crutchfield several days ago as its new head coach.
