2013 Intro: Curtis Smith

Detroit Jesuit wide receiver Curtis Smith impressed at the recent Raw Talent Sports Combine, showing good hands being consistent with his route running. Along with teammate Damon Webb, both Jesuit High School wideouts showed well.

PROFILE: Curtis Smith.

SCHOOL: Detroit Jesuit.

POSITION: Wide receiver.

SIZE: 5-foot-10, 170-pounds.

CLASS: 2013 prospect.

RECRUITING INTERESTS: "I'm hearing the most from Central Michigan and Toledo right now," Smith stated. "My favorite school is Michigan State, but I also like Michigan and Purdue a lot. I'd love to hear more from Penn State, Stanford and Mississippi State, and they've all been in contact."

EVALUATION: While not blessed with great size or blinding speed, Smith had a good day at Raw Talent. He showed good hands catching the football and ran excellent routes. Probably a slot receiver at the next level, Smith will need to add strength and quickness to make himself a better football player. Smith took every rep possible, and impressed as a player that wanted to get better.
