2013 Intro: Robinson (Fla) QB

Vidal Woodruff is a standout quarterback from Robinson High in Tampa and so lets take a closer look at him as a prospect.

Name: QB Vidal Woodruff

School: Robinson HS (Tampa, Fla)

Size: 6-2/210

2011 season stats: Woodruff finished his junior season with 600 yards passing, 10 touchdowns, and two interceptions. He connected on 56-percent of his passes and helped lead Robinson to a 9-3 record and a berth in the state playoffs.

Grades: 2.5 GPA/no test score

Recruiting: "My top college choices are Marshall, TCU, Iowa State, and FIU," Woodruff said. "No offers yet but strong interest from these schools."

"In college I will be looking for a good education and to play football for a good program," he said.

As a Prospect: Woodruff didn't get a chance to throw too many passes as a junior last season but he made the most of them when he did. He's a pocket passer with a live arm and makes good decisions on the football field. He's expected to emerge as one of the top quarterbacks in the greater Tampa area and throw in his size and arm strength and you can see why he's considered a major college QB prospect in the 2013 class.
