Rosenberg's eyeing Ivy League schools

Chase Rosenberg is a quarterback in Georgia that is strong on and off the field and you can get the latest on him right here.

"I have been working out every day with my teammates in the morning, then lifting two times a week after school, and I run and throw on the weekends," Chase Rosenberg told Scout.

Rosenberg is a 6-foot, 190 pound quarterback out of Roswell (GA) Centennial and he is working hard to play under new head coach Jeffrey Carlberg.

"I am really excited that we are moving to spread, so I think I will be throwing the ball around a lot this year. We are coming from the option, so I have shown that I can run the ball, so now I will have a chance to show that I can throw the ball too. I definitely think playing in the spread will help me a lot."

Rosenberg has shown he can run, now he wants to show that he can throw.

He has been showing for years that he is strong academically and schools have taken notice.

"I have gotten a lot of mail from Duke, Vanderbilt, and schools like that. My dad and I plan to go visit some Ivy League schools during the summer and I think I will like those.

"I do not have any offers yet, but I am working for those. I know I can play on the next level."

The University of Georgia is where his two sisters attend college, but Chase may go another route if presented with the opportunity.

"I really think it depends on what offers I get," he said. "I think if I did get offered by an Ivy League school, it would be hard to turn it down. It could really help me prepare for my future. I love football too, but education is important to me."

Rosenberg helped lead Team Georgia to a second place finish in the New Level Athletics 7v7 in Atlanta over the weekend.
