While 6-foot-5, 225 pound junior Greg Hart took a visit to Evanston just to learn about Northwestern, he came back with even more.
"I'm on my way back from Northwestern but I wanted to let you know they offered me," said Hart Saturday night. "I've been talking to them for a while. I love the academics and the versatility of the superback position and I'm a fan of Coach Fitzgerald, he's a great guy."
The tight end said he had a great time on his visit.
"It was great. I saw practice which was intense and fast paced. You can really tell Coach Fitz is really into it and believes in Northwestern football and its potential."
Other than the Wildcats, Hart also holds offers from Kentucky, Indiana, Western Kentucky, Akron, Kent State, Ohio and Marshall.
The junior doesn't have a timetable for when he plans on making his decision, but will just do it, "when it feels right." For now, he's thinking about what will some of the most important factors when it comes to making that decision.
"Every school has great facilities so that's not really a concern. Academics will be a big part as will my relationship with the coach. I'll also look at the atmosphere on game day and just how the fan base is."
