School: Deland, Fla.
2011 season stats: Kemp finished his junior season with close to 1,500 yards on the ground for a school that made the Class 8A state playoffs in 2011.
Grades: 3.1 GPA/no test score
Recruiting: Kemp lists Miami (childhood favorite), Florida, South Carolina, South Florida, and Alabama as his early favorites. He now has several Division 1 offers including USF, Marshall, Temple, West Virginia, FIU, and SMU. He says the school environment and the team itself and how well they bond are two of the most important things he'll be looking for in a school.
As a Prospect: Kemp may have been the best player on a very good Deland team in 2011. The Bulldogs had two tremendous running backs a couple years ago (one at Iowa State now and one at Florida) and Kemp's every bit as good as both of them at this age. He has enough size and speed to really make things happen on his own. He also also be a very good defensive back, too. He is starting to collect some major offers and expect him to emerge as one of the premier running back prospects in all of central Florida in the 2013 class.
