Honolulu (Haw.) St. Louis defensive lineman Kamalei Correa has been busy lately, picking up offers from Arizona, Colorado, Oregon State and Utah. The 6'3" 240lbs prospect talked about what stands out for each program.

"Arizona… It's in the Pac-12 and I always wanted to play in the Pac-12," said Correa. "I'd have a chance to play."

"Colorado... I heard it is a really nice campus," said Correa. "It might be one of my official visits."

"Oregon State… That's actually one of my top schools," said Correa. "They are up there."

"Utah... In the Pac-12, I'll consider them," said Correa. "I'm looking forward to building a relationship with the coaches."

Correa mentioned Oregon State as an early leader, along with two other programs he is still hoping for an offer from.

"Oregon State, Oregon and Notre Dame," said Correa. "I get a lot of stuff from Oregon, coach Azzinaro came and visited couple months ago."

In addition to the four offers mentioned above, Correa was previously offered by Hawaii and Washington State. He talked about what position he thinks the colleges are recruiting him at.

"They actually haven't told me too much," said Correa. "But I have been at defensive end, so I assume they are recruiting me to play there."

Correa will be waiting to take trips until the fall when he can go on official visits. However, he already knows what he will be looking for from each school.

"Just to see if I can get to the next level after that," said Correa. "Good surroundings and nice a place, I'll wait it out and see how it feels."
