MSU throws their name in the hat for two top Grand Canyon State prospects

Michigan State doesn't come to Arizona often to recruit players but this year's class in the Grand Canyon State is as talented at the top as it has ever been and the Spartans have decided to jump in the mix and recruit two of the nation's top student-athletes. has confirmed that Tempe Marcos de Niza safety Priest Willis was offered this week by the Spartans.

Willis (6-2 195) also has offers from Texas A&M, West Virginia, Washington State, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, LSU, Florida State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Cal, Virginia, USC, San Diego State, Nebraska, Washington, UCLA, Oregon State, Utah, Arizona, Purdue and Arizona State.

Phoenix Brophy wide receiver Devon Allen tells us that MSU extended him an offer as well, bringing him to 20 total.

Allen's also has offers from Nebraska, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Utah, Notre Dame, Arkansas, UCLA, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Michigan, Oregon State, Arizona, Washington, Purdue, Arizona State, Colorado State, Duke and Stanford

Allen (6-1 190) caught 44 passes for 844 yards and 14 TDs as a junior.
