Heys McMath One to Watch

One of the best kept secrets in the Southeast resides in Woodberry Forest (VA) Woodberry Forest High School but not for very much longer as the word is leaking out about Heys McMath. The Quarterback position is the single most important position on the field at every level of football. The 6'5 and 195-pound McMath has all the tools you look for in a signal caller.

Heys McMath checks in at 6'5 and 195-pounds. Tucked away in Woodberry Forest McMath has not received as much attention as some of the other top signal callers around but that is likely about to change. McMath has interest from North Carolina, Duke and took a trip to check out the University of Florida this weekend. He has been in contact with newly named offensive coordinator Brent Pease and the Gators and talked about it with Scout.com

"It went great," Heys McMath said. "It was a great visit and coach Pease said he will be up for Spring practice and I think I will be at the one day camp this Summer."

The Gators have offers only a few quarterback's at this time including Cooper Bateman (UT) Cody Thomas (TX) Christian Hackenberg (VA) and Kohl Stewart (TX) Many people believe that Heys McMath is the top signal caller in the Virginia area and the number seems to be growing. Coach Pease and the rest of the Gator coaches they are in no hurry to pull the trigger on a quarterback for this year's class. They will continue to evaluate and try and determine who the best fit might be moving forward. The questions about the quarterback position should be answered sooner rather than later once the evaluation period arrives.
