Cobb Talks Offers, Recruiting

Los Angeles (Calif.) Bishop Mora Salesian 2014 defensive athlete Jamadre Cobb has already picked up offers from Washington State and Boise State and his eye on a few more programs.

Los Angeles (Calif.) Bishop Mora Salesian 2014 athlete Jamadre Cobb plays both defensive back and linebacker, and loves that he's able to be agressive on the field.

"I love to hit people, it's a lot of fun. I get hyped up, clapping in their face after I hit them," he laughed.

It's no surprise that the 6'2", 215 lb. Ware cites that toughness as one of his greatest strengths at the position.

"I'm a physical player and I know how to stop the plays," he said. Cobb may only be a sophomore, but has already picked up two offers: Washington State and Boise State.

"I was really happy when I got my first offer from Washington State. I haven't talked to the coaches yet about how they want to use me, but I'm interested in the program. I like how they lift weights every day, work hard in the off-season, and they do their schoolwork," he said.

Cobb is also going to take a closer look at the Broncos.

"I don't know much about Boise State, but I'm really interested in them. I like their field and their football team is very good. They use a lot of speed," he said.

Though he isn't jumping full-on into the recruiting process quite yet, there are a few other programs that have caught Cobb's eye.

"I'm also interested in USC and UCLA. I think they are both hard-working teams. I grew up a fan of the Trojans," he said.

Cobb won't take visits for a while and is instead spending the remainder of the off-season working on improving as a player. "Our team lifts weights and runs track; I do the 100m and the 4 x 100m. I'm working on my speed, with track and by training my core. I come out every day working hard," he said.
